Save the date for the Portland Auto Swap Meet, April 4-6 2014
From muscle and antique cars to parts and more, 50th annual event has something for everyone
Portland, OR -- Mark the calendar for one of the West’s largest and longest-running classic auto gatherings, as the Portland Auto Swap Meet revs up to celebrate its 50th anniversary April 4 – 6 2014, held at the Portland Metropolitan Expo Center.
With 3,500 booths and 1,500 vendors, the meet features a diverse array of goods that draws more than 30,000 auto enthusiasts annually, focusing on classic cars dating from the earliest days of mass production to 1980 models.
“If you’re looking for anything from a gleaming, rebuilt hot rod to an original part for a Model A, the Portland Auto Swap Meet is for you,” said event chairman Dave VanWinkle.
With the exception of an area featuring a range of collectibles, the meet is a head-spinning collection of classic cars, parts and accessories, including original, remanufactured and new products, presented by large and small vendors from across the country.
“It’s always an exceptional range of items, and the April date makes this a great opportunity to find just what you want, what you need or what you think you need in advance of the summer cruising season,” added VanWinkle.
The Portland Auto Swap Meet opens Friday, April 4 from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and half-day Sunday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Admission is $7.00 per day at the gate for adults Friday and Saturday, and $4.00 on Sunday. Also, Sunday is special free admission Ladies Day when accompanied by paying adult. Admission is free all days for children under 12.
